I am doing a website next for a previous psychological counselor who taught metaphysics. She’s now a psychic medium, animal psychic and does past life regression. She calls herself a widow who talks to her pets. I relate to her shame. She’s surprisingly jaded. I interview her on Thursday.

1. Kate Chin (the web designer) has agreed to work on the MAC site. She has a couple projects to finish up first, but I have already sent her the .ai and .psd files. I will be helping her on her other projects to get to ours faster.

3. I have decided to spend the majority of my time working freelance in partnership with Kate Chin. Feel free to still call me when you need help with something- especially photography and graphic design. The pictures and the work we've done (and will continue to do) is free and belongs to you, so don't worry about any legal crap. I appreciated working with you guys and learning about the film industry.

4. I spoke with the additional interns and will be emailing and updating them on the progress of the site. Amelia can help with the content and writing for the site. I will be in close contact with her throughout this project.

1. I met up with Sathya (web designer) today and made a lot of progress on that step. I need to find the professional versions of Macromedia FLASH, DREAMWEAVER and FIREWORKS MX 2004 before I can make the next move.

1. I put up the revised ad (emphasis on diversity) on craigslist and austinactors.net. Plus, I hunted down about 8 new girls for the music video auditions.

2. I posted an ad on Craigslist for a partnership to help me with the web design aspect of my work. I am hoping to find someone who I work well with and can refer clients to in the future. Hopefully get some extra money helping with photography and design. I will post the potential web designers on this journal. Feel free to give me advice if you have a preference on who you think would make a good freelance partner.

3. I tried taking pictures of the black board to keep people up to date on the notes, but it turned out very hard to make them legible. But I tried. Here they are- under "the black board"

4. Btw, thank you Matt and Nick for the pizza ;)

5. Sorry I took off early today. I'll have to take off another day or two next week (once I find out which prints need to be made) so I can get those printed, framed and marked before June 1st.

6. I registered for a couple classes at UT this summer, so I will be busy doing that as well. I'm really looking forward to actually taking my first photography class :)

7. I met the casting lady today and please let her know that if she wants an extra hand, I'm always willing to do grunt work. I find her job interesting and really would like to be a fly on the wall for the auditions just to learn what they are like.

8. Congrats Justin on your graduation :) Let me know if you need any help drinking this weekend.

9. One more thing, if any of you are interested in going kayaking with me on Sunday, call me. I will send you the details. Right now, we can only fit on about 3 people for the kayaks. But if you have tubes, like hiking or just want to drink the woods (Ink National Park?) then please come! That means you too Nick- despite your sleep deprivation ;)

1. Monday I had a chance to ask some questions during a quick meeting, so I will be emailing everyone soon to get together the content for the website. I got some good information on how to organize the content (with navigation, etc).

2. Tuesday I received several documents from Matt(LaB) with some web content to be revised- thanks again. If anyone didn't receive those for revision, let me know. I can forward them to you.

3. I sent out emails for everyone to take a look at the designs for the website and have the chance to give some input on those.

4. I put up a few more designs based on what Matt(Iha), Nick and I discussed earlier in the week (21-24).

5. I have my fingers crossed for the Dali Lama :)

1. Interviewed with Matthew Iha for internship position at Mind Altering Creations. Brought in my portfolio CD and shared some of my ideas. Matt showed me a music video they made and some still photos from previous productions.

2. Got Mind Altering Creations access and created a storage document for images.

3. Organized web design information architecture for new layout and content information. Researched other competitors in Austin and created a site to organize the findings.

4. Created sketches for new web design layout.

5. Accompanied Matt investigating new studios and stored images online to show coworkers.

6. Learned how to use FileMaker and put together two information sheets for production.

7. Toyed with layout ideas for badges and received ai. files of logos and previous badges.

8. Created a site sample based on the design decisions and discussion throughout the week.

9. Went on an office supply run, cleaned out a part of the closet/storage space and put together 'Seeking Internship' documents.

10. Posted on Craigslist and Livejournal for 'Seeking Female Models/Dancers for Music Video.' Responses are directed to Matt Iha.

a. Waiting on 'Seeking Internship' document to be revised, so they can be forwarded to Southwestern University and University of Texas at Austin. Still have a few more resources to contact for other Recruiting Coordinators.

b. Waiting on detailed content for web design. Also seeking web/flash/coder to partner up with and get the site online asap.

c. Start designs for badges, collect portrait photos of team and post for criticism.

d. Location road trip on Monday, 9am.
